Intern Research (Logistics & TMS)

Bigwings is an innovative startup in the logistics industry with a mission to streamline logistics and trucking operations in the USA. We are looking for a motivated Research Intern to support our team by conducting in-depth research on logistics, trucking regulations, and industry trends. **Responsibilities:** - Research US logistics and trucking industry trends, regulations, and challenges. - Gather data on market needs, customer pain points, and potential opportunities for TMS improvements. - Research compliance requirements (e.g., DOT, FMCSA, ELD mandates) and their impact on trucking businesses. - Assist in preparing research reports, presentations, and data-driven insights to support product development. - Evaluate technological advancements, automation, and AI trends in logistics and suggest innovative solutions. - Identify potential customer segments and analyze their needs and preferences. - Support in creating research-backed business strategies and feature recommendations. **Requirements:** - Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors/Masters degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Data Science, or a related field. - Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret industry data. - Interest in logistics, supply chain, and transportation technology. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, and research tools. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. - Knowledge of the US trucking industry (preferred but not mandatory). **What You'll Gain:** - Hands-on experience in logistics technology and market research. - Opportunity to work closely with a fast-growing startup. - Mentorship from industry experts. - A chance to contribute to the development of an innovative logistics product. - Potential for a full-time role based on performance.
