Intern Private Equity Vienna

Role Overview: You will be joining Mutares SE & Co. KGaA, a listed private equity holding company based in Munich, with a focus on acquiring medium-sized companies in special situations. As an Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth of the office in Vienna for a period of 6 months. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze investment opportunities by reviewing teasers and memoranda to identify potential acquisition targets. - Support financial modeling activities, including valuation, working capital normalization, and debt analysis. - Assist in due diligence processes by conducting data room reviews, identifying risks, and preparing expert calls. - Contribute to transaction execution by assisting in drafting offer documents and exit-related materials. - Provide administrative support to the Office Manager and Board of Directors as required. Qualifications Required: - Completed degree in Economics, preferably with a specialization in Finance, or a similar field with outstanding academic performance. - Previous internships, including experience in investment banking or M&A. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with an entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on approach. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. - Business fluency in English and German, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
