Intern Automation Expert

Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and tech-savvy Automation Intern to join our educational institute. The intern will work closely with various departments to identify opportunities for automation, streamline processes, and implement effective digital solutions. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about process improvement, problem-solving, and leveraging technology to drive efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

· Collaborate with different departments (Academic, Administrative, Finance, IT, HR, etc.) to understand workflows and identify automation opportunities.

· Analyze existing manual processes and suggest feasible automation solutions.

· Design and develop small-scale automation tools (Excel macros, scripts, RPA, Google Workspace automation, workflow automations, etc.).

· Support the implementation of automation projects and assist with training staff to use automated systems.

· Document processes, automation solutions, and create user manuals/guides.

· Provide support for troubleshooting and maintaining automated processes.

· Stay updated with the latest automation tools, trends, and technologies to recommend innovative solutions.

Required Skills & Competencies

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Basic knowledge of automation tools/technologies such as: Excel VBA / Google Apps Script / Power Automate / Zapier / UiPath / Python scripting.

· Understanding of databases, spreadsheets, and data processing workflows.

· Ability to quickly learn new tools and apply them effectively.

· Good communication skills to coordinate with multiple departments.

· Self-motivated with a keen interest in process improvement.

Eligibility & Education

· Pursuing a degree/diploma in Computer Science, IT, Data Analytics, or related fields.

· Prior exposure to automation projects (academic or internship) will be an added advantage.
