Intern Assistant Director (Pre-Production)

As an Intern Assistant Director (Pre-Production) at Moonlight Films and Theatre Studio in New Delhi, you will be part of a creative production house dedicated to independent cinema and performance arts. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the pre-production phase of a feature film, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the planning and organization essential for successful filmmaking. Your responsibilities will include assisting with script breakdowns, scene analysis, casting, location scouting, scheduling meetings, rehearsals, and production timelines. You will be responsible for maintaining documentation, shot lists, continuity notes, and coordinating with various departments such as art, costume, and production design. Additionally, you will provide administrative support to the Director and 1st AD during the preparation phase, ensuring effective communication between all teams involved in pre-production. To excel in this role, you should be based in Delhi/NCR with a strong interest in film direction and behind-the-scenes work. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of script formatting and filmmaking terminology is required, and a background in theatre, film studies, or media is preferred. Familiarity with tools like Google Docs, Excel, and scheduling software would be advantageous.
