Intermediate User Experience (UI/UX) Designer

Role Overview: As a Digital Product Designer at CDM Smith, you will be responsible for designing the overall look, feel, layout, interface, and functionality of digital products. Your role will involve creating interactive content to enhance user experience and facilitating a productive experience using various forms of digital and web media. You will conduct user research, design user experience (UX) copy, validate/test with users, and present design solutions to the business/product team for implementation. This work will be performed independently on small to medium-sized teams. Key Responsibilities: - Develop application definitions through brainstorming sessions and stakeholder interviews to collect design goals and requirements. - Conduct market competitor research, user surveys, and usability tests to gather data and insights. - Contribute to the planning and design of information architecture and build storyboards to conceptualize designs. - Collaborate with development and marketing teams to ensure the delivery of tailored user experiences. - Develop specifications from low-to-high fidelity, including mockups and prototypes. - Design interfaces that comply with accessibility standards and ensure usability for people with disabilities. - Leverage user analytics and behavioral data to inform and validate design choices. - Mentor junior designers and share design knowledge within the team. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field. - Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. - Demonstrated knowledge of UI/UX standards, design best practices, and technologies. - Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. - Understanding of agile methodologies, lean UX, and ethical considerations in design. - Ability to design interfaces adaptable for different languages and regions. - Skill in documenting and presenting design work and case studies.,
