We share a fundamental dedication to earning the trust and exceeding expectations of our clients.Are you a Noise and Vibration Engineer with 3-10 years experience in a consulting engineering environment?RWDI is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team at our Trivandrum office as an intermediate Intermediate Engineer with a primary focus on Noise, Acoustics and VibrationJob DescriptionThe role includes but is not limited to:Conducting and guiding others to perform field noise and vibration measurementsOutlining a scope of work for new projects and preparing fee proposalsConducting environmental noise and vibration assessments autonomouslyPerforming computer modelling using SoundPLAN or CadnaADesigning effective noise and vibration mitigation measuresGuiding small teams for larger projectsDeveloping working relationships with clientsMeeting and exceeding client expectations and project milestonesWriting clear and concise technical project reports on large and small projectsProviding advice on technical problems and following the appropriate QA/QC Procedures.Job RequirementsWe are accepting applications from candidates with the following qualifications:Bachelor s Degree (or higher) in Civil, Mechanical, Building Services Engineering or Environmental Engineering/Science, or a related technical discipline, preferably with some focus on acoustics, noise and/or vibrationDemonstrated experience in acoustic design, environmental noise and vibration engineering and relevant testing instrumentIn depth understanding of noise guidelines, noise modelling techniques, and calculationsExperience working on international projects in a multidisciplinary design environmentTrack record of developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with clientsAbility to successfully meet schedules and control costsDemonstrated initiative, independent problem-solving methods/capabilities, exceptional coordination and consultation skillsAn ability to work in a fast-paced consulting environment to provide practical solutions with minimal supervision, while multi-tasking to meet deadlinesAdvanced writing skills including experience preparing consultative reportsPossess or be eligible to obtain registered Chartered Professional Engineer status during your career.Preference will be given to candidates with the following skills and experience:Advanced level Microsoft Excel and Word capabilitiesIntermediate level user of CadnaA, SoundPLAN, EASE or similar softwareIntermediate level user of AutoCAD and reading Engineering DrawingsPreferable, Intermediate level user of ArcGIS, QGIS or similar GIS package.Candidates should also possess:Excellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishStrong people and team working or collaboration skillsAn ability to work in a fast-paced team environmentExceptional organizational capabilities.Please submit your cover letter and resume at the following link:http: / / rwdi.com / en_ca / people / careersSalary: Commensurate with experienceThank you in advance for your application.
