Job Description

Responsibilities

Design and develop automotive interior trims expertise in door panels
Create and release CAD models and detailed drawings using tools such as CATIA V5 or similar software.
Modify designs based on engineering or manufacturing feedback, ensuring fit, finish, and compliance with vehicle requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers, to ensure timely delivery of prototypes and production parts.
Conduct feasibility studies, participate in DFMEA, and support validation activities for interior components.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
610 years’ experience in automotive domain, specifically in interior or door panel design.
Proficiency in CATIA V5 or comparable 3D and 2D modeling tools.
Knowledge of automotive plastics, trims, materials, and manufacturing processes (injection molding, compression molding, extrusion).
Strong communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
