Role Overview

The Interior Project Manager will oversee multiple interior fit-out projects from inception to handover, ensuring superior quality, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency.
The ideal candidate brings 812 years of experience, strong team leadership, excellent vendor management skills, and deep expertise in commercial interior project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Lead end-to-end execution of interior fit-out projects including Civil, MEP (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting), Partitions, Flooring, Ceiling, Carpentry, and Finishes.
• Prepare project schedules, resource plans, execution strategies, and work breakdown structures (WBS).
• Review architectural, structural & MEP drawings; resolve discrepancies with consultants and design teams.

Team & Vendor Management

• Manage site engineers, supervisors, contractors, and vendor teams to maintain productivity and quality.
• Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and oversee procurement of materials.
• Ensure alignment between execution teams, management, and external partners.

Quality, Compliance & Safety

• Ensure adherence to quality benchmarks, building codes, and HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) protocols.
• Conduct periodic site audits, quality checks, snag identification, and closure before handovers.

Cost Control & Reporting

• Prepare and monitor BOQs, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow requirements.
• Control material consumption, prevent wastage, and optimize cost without compromising quality.
• Maintain accurate MIS reports, progress updates, and dashboards for management.

Client & Stakeholder Coordination

• Interface with clients for progress reviews, design clarifications, and milestone walkthroughs.
• Ensure timely communication on timelines, risks, and project deliverables.

Risk Management & Problem Solving

• Identify execution risks, delays, or technical issues; implement corrective actions proactively.
• Resolve on-site conflicts and provide technical guidance to the project team.

Skills Required

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of MEP coordination, civil works, and turnkey interior solutions.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing drawings.
• Expertise in preparing and validating BOQs, budgets, and project schedules.
• Knowledge of materials, workmanship standards, and construction specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project / Primavera, MS Excel, and project documentation tools.
• Familiarity with building codes, safety standards, and compliance regulations.

Project Management Skills

• Strong command over project planning, execution, monitoring, and control.
• Experience with PMP, Prince2, Lean Construction, or similar methodologies.
• Vendor management, contract negotiation, and procurement planning.
• Risk assessment, mitigation, and change management.
