Job Description

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a passionate and practical Interior Designer Sales & Design who can independently manage client interactions, design conceptualisation, estimation, and project coordination.
  • This role requires a strong balance between creative design thinking and sales ownership, handling projects end-to-end from lead engagement to design finalization and handover support

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Interaction & Sales

  • Handle incoming leads and understand client requirements, lifestyle needs, budget, and timelines.
  • Conduct client meetings (online / in-person) and present design concepts confidently.
  • Explain materials, finishes, execution process, warranties, and pricing clearly and transparently.
  • Prepare and present design proposals, quotations, and BOQs.
  • Follow up with clients to close deals and achieve monthly sales targets.
  • Coordinate with internal sales and support teams for documentation, booking, and formalities.

2. Design & Space Planning

  • Create functional and aesthetic designs for:
    • Modular kitchens
    • Wardrobes
    • TV units
    • Bedrooms, living rooms, and storage units
  • Develop 2D layouts, elevations, and basic 3D views as required.
  • Ensure designs are practical, execution-friendly, and within client budgets.
  • Make design revisions based on client feedback and finalize drawings for execution.

3. Estimation & Costing

  • Prepare accurate project estimates and detailed cost break-ups.
  • Ensure pricing aligns with company standards and margin requirements.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for material specifications and costing.
  • Clearly explain cost variations and value propositions to clients.

4. Project Coordination & Handover Support

  • Coordinate with project and execution teams after design closure.
  • Support execution teams with drawings, material details, and clarifications.
  • Attend site visits when required for measurements or design clarifications.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from design to execution and high client satisfaction.

5. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain proper client records, drawings, approvals, and communication logs.
  • Update CRM or internal tracking tools with lead status and project progress.
  • Provide regular updates on sales pipeline, closures, and ongoing projects.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Qualification: Diploma / Bachelors in Interior Design or Architecture (preferred)
  • Experience: 14 years in residential interior design (sales-oriented role preferred)
  • Strong understanding of modular interiors and on-site execution basics
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Comfortable working with sales targets and client follow-ups
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients/projects

Technical Skills

  • AutoCAD (mandatory)
  • SketchUp / 3Ds Max / basic rendering knowledge (preferred)
  • MS Excel / Google Sheets for estimations
  • Knowledge of modular interior materials, hardware, and finishes

Compensation & Benefits

  • Fixed Salary: 30,000 per month
  • Variable Pay / Incentives: Performance-based (linked to sales closures and targets)
