Interior Designer

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our showroom team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for aesthetics and a strong understanding of fabric, color, and design coordination. This role involves guiding clients through the selection of curtains, sofa fabrics, cushions, and décor elements to create harmonious interiors. The candidate should also be skilled in preparing drawings and 3D renders to help clients visualize their selections.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients in choosing the right combinations of curtains, upholstery fabrics, cushions, and accessories that complement their interiors.
• Provide expert advice on colors, textures, and patterns to enhance room décor.
• Create concept drawings, layouts, and 3D renders based on client fabric selections.
• Develop customized design presentations to help clients visualize their spaces.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in fabrics, furnishings, and interior design.
• Collaborate with the showroom team to ensure smooth execution of client requirements.
• Maintain fabric catalogues, mood boards, and design samples for client demonstrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Interior Design or related field.
• Proven experience in residential/commercial interior design or showroom consulting.
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, furnishings, color theory, and design trends.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Photoshop, or similar any design software.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to understand client needs and translate them into practical, creative solutions.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of aesthetics.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in a furnishings showroom or interior décor retail environment.
• Ability to prepare 3D renders and mood boards quickly and effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a flair for client interaction and relationship building.
