Interior Architect

As an Interior Architect at Hanover Architects, you will be tasked with collaborating with a Project Manager on various aspects of luxury multi-family building projects. Your responsibilities will include developing 3-D models of amenity spaces, annotating and rendering elevations with finish materials, managing consultant drawing coordination, adapting standardized amenity spaces to project requirements, investigating new software and technology to enhance design deliverables, and resolving complex design issues with innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Develop 3-D models of amenity spaces for design and coordination purposes, and create rendered views for presentations and marketing. - Annotate and render elevations with finish materials. - Populate plans with notes, symbols, and dimensions. - Format and populate Corridor Plan sheets. - Manage consultant drawing coordination at each milestone drawing issue. - Adapt standardized amenity spaces to fit the project. - Build and maintain a standard detail library. - Investigate new software and technology to improve design deliverables and drive efficiency. - Modify existing plans and elevations to meet project requirements. - Resolve complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's degree in architecture. - Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role required, 5 to 10+ years of experience welcome. - Technical Knowledge: - AutoCAD (expertise) - Build and format drawing sheets. - Utilize x-references, model/paper space, and templates. - Use measuring utilities. - Sketchup (expertise) - Create models from AutoCAD line work. - Use layers, components, and paint materials. - Experience with 3D rendering software plug-ins. - Adobe Photoshop / InDesign (expertise) - Create renderings from AutoCAD line work. - Utilize layers, effects, shadows, colors, etc. - Build and format presentation templates. - Bluebeam Revu (proficiency) - Understand markup utilities and file management. - Procore / BOX (proficiency) - Understand project dashboard and document downloads. - PlanGrid (proficiency) - Understand functions, features, and filters for drawing downloads. - General Concepts: - Critical review and coordination of consultant drawings. - Interior detailing ability. - Knowledge of finish materials installation and construction build-out sequence.
