Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Provide round-the-clock medical care for patients admitted to the ICU.
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage critically ill patients with multi-organ dysfunction or failure.
Perform and supervise critical care procedures such as intubation, mechanical ventilation, central line insertion, arterial line placement, and other emergency interventions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including anesthesiologists, surgeons, physicians, and nursing staff for coordinated patient management.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Ensure accurate documentation of patient status, treatment plans, and procedures.
Participate in daily clinical rounds and case discussions.
Manage emergency situations and provide guidance to junior doctors and ICU staff.
Maintain adherence to hospital protocols and infection control standards.
Stay updated with current trends and advancements in critical care medicine.
