Key Responsibilities : Diagnose and manage patients with renal diseases, including CKD, AKI, glomerulonephritis, and electrolyte disturbances. Oversee dialysis treatments, including hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, and manage complications. Work closely with renal dietitians, transplant coordinators, and other specialists to deliver comprehensive care. Perform procedures such as kidney biopsies, dialysis catheter placements (if credentialed), and ultrasound assessments. Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and response. Educate patients and families about kidney disease management and lifestyle modifications. Participate in on-call rotation for inpatient consults and emergencies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Contribute to clinical research, audits, or quality improvement initiatives as applicable. Qualifications : Medical Degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution. Board certification or eligibility in Nephrology. Valid medical license to practice in [State/Country]. Fellowship in Nephrology from a recognized institution. Experience in managing dialysis patients is preferred. Strong diagnostic, analytical, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
