Interventional Cardiologist

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures including cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and coronary stenting. Evaluate and manage patients with cardiovascular diseases in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Interpret diagnostic tests including EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac CTs. Collaborate with other cardiologists, surgeons, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Participate in on-call rotation for interventional cardiology services. Maintain accurate documentation of all procedures and patient interactions. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and compliance with clinical protocols. Educate patients and families regarding cardiovascular conditions, treatments, and lifestyle modifications. Contribute to continuing medical education, research, and training programs as applicable. Qualifications: MD degree from an accredited medical college. Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology fellowship. Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology (ABIM). Valid medical license or eligibility to obtain one in [State]. Current ACLS and BLS certification. Strong communication, decision-making, and leadership skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
