General Surgeon

Key Responsibilities: Perform elective and emergency laparoscopic procedures such as: Laparoscopic appendectomy Cholecystectomy Hernia repairs Laparoscopic hysterectomy or other gynecologic procedures (if dual-specialty) Diagnostic laparoscopy Manage patients in the outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings. Collaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other specialists for optimal patient outcomes. Ensure detailed documentation of patient history, operative notes, and discharge summaries. Participate in surgical audits, clinical meetings, and morbidity/mortality reviews. Uphold highest standards of infection control and patient safety. Train junior doctors, residents, and surgical assistants as needed. Stay updated with advancements in minimally invasive surgery and incorporate evidence-based practices. Qualifications: MBBS from a recognized university (MCI/NMC approved). MS / DNB in General Surgery or equivalent. Fellowship or certified training in Laparoscopic Surgery (e.g., FMAS, FIAGES, or equivalent). Valid registration with State Medical Council / NMC. Minimum 3 years of experience post-specialization in laparoscopic procedures. Excellent surgical, diagnostic, and clinical decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
