Intensivist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Intensivist to join our critical care team. The candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the ICU and providing advanced support in emergency situations. The role requires strong clinical judgment, decision-making, and hands-on expertise in intensive and emergency care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide round-the-clock medical care and supervision to patients admitted in the ICU.
• Manage critically ill patients requiring ventilator support, advanced hemodynamic monitoring, and organ support therapies.
• Attend and stabilize emergency cases in the ER and facilitate smooth transfer to ICU if required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (nurses, surgeons, anesthetists, emergency physicians, and other specialists) for comprehensive patient care.
• Perform invasive and non-invasive procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, arterial line insertion, etc.
• Participate in code blue and rapid response team activities. Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, infection control practices, and patient safety standards.
• Mentor and train junior doctors, residents, and nursing staff in ICU and emergency management.
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain detailed medical records.

Qualifications & Experience:

• MBBS with a recognized post-MBBS qualification (Diploma/Certification in Intensive Care, or MD in Intensive & Emergency Care or related specialty).
• Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience in ICU and Emergency Department.
• Proficiency in critical care procedures, ventilator management, and emergency resuscitation.
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and leadership skills.
