Intensive Care Nurse

As an Intensive Care Nurse at Artha Assisted Living, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care, support, and medical assistance to senior residents. Your expertise and leadership skills will be crucial in maintaining the well-being and health of our residents in a compassionate and professional manner. You will be tasked with administering medications, wound care, and monitoring vital signs to ensure skilled nursing care for residents. Additionally, assessing residents" health status, developing care plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care will be part of your responsibilities. In a clinical leadership role, you will mentor junior staff nurses, offer guidance and training, and support the delivery of exceptional care. You will also assist in orienting new nursing staff and facilitate ongoing education and training programs. Monitoring and documenting residents" health conditions accurately, keeping medical records up-to-date, and recognizing changes in residents" conditions will be essential. Effective communication with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team to provide health updates and care plans is also a key aspect of the role. During medical emergencies, you will need to remain composed, follow established protocols, and provide immediate care as required. Collaborating with emergency medical services and ensuring smooth transitions in critical situations will also be part of your duties. Participating in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and compliance assessments to uphold high care standards, implementing infection control measures, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for residents will be expected. Advocating for residents" rights and preferences, promoting their dignity and autonomy, and addressing concerns or grievances in a respectful and timely manner are crucial aspects of patient advocacy. Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or GNM, a valid nursing license, relevant certifications, proven experience as a Staff Nurse in a senior care or assisted living facility, strong clinical skills, excellent leadership and interpersonal abilities, a minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or similar setting, empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for providing quality care to seniors.
