1.

• Seeking an experienced Senior Integration Test Engineer with expertise in Event-Driven Architectures (EDA), distributed systems, and API testing.
• Responsible for ensuring platform reliability, resilience, and data integrity through comprehensive testing strategies.
• Design and execute testing plans for complex microservices environments utilizing messaging systems like Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, and Service Bus.
• Validate event flows, message delivery, and system robustness against real-world scenarios.
• Play a critical role in testing API integrations and system behavior to ensure seamless operation under various conditions..

• Test Strategy & Planning:

  Develop detailed test plans and strategies for event-driven systems, including validation of event ordering, delivery semantics, schema evolution, and backward/forward compatibility. Establish testing standards for event schemas and integrations.

• Test Design & Automation:

  Design and implement automated test frameworks for validating event streams, message brokers, and APIs (REST, gRPC). Create test cases that cover complex scenarios such as duplicate messages, out-of-order events, dead-letter queues, and circuit breaker patterns.

• API & Service Testing:

  Conduct comprehensive API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, Karate, and custom automation scripts. Validate API contract adherence, data transformation, error handling, and response performance within the event ecosystem.

• Event & System Validation:

  Validate event processing guarantees (at-least-once, exactly-once), schema evolution, and system resilience. Use replay strategies for capturing, recording, and replaying real or simulated event data to test system behavior under diverse scenarios.

• Observability & Performance Testing:

  Implement monitoring validation for distributed tracing, metrics collection, and log correlation. Conduct performance/load testing to evaluate throughput, latency, and system stability.

• Collaboration & Mentorship:

  Work closely with architects, developers, and DevOps teams to embed testing best practices into development processes. Mentor junior QA engineers on EDA testing concepts, API validation, and automation techniques.

• Analysis & Reporting:

  Analyze test results, identify failure patterns, and provide insights to improve system robustness. Create test coverage reports for integration points and critical workflows

• Technical Expertise:

• 4 to 9 years years of experience in integration testing within complex distributed systems.
• 3+ years of experience testing Event-Driven Architectures (Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, Service Bus, RabbitMQ).
• Strong understanding of mediator patterns, event sourcing, CQRS, and orchestrations.

• API & Automation Skills:

• Extensive experience testing APIs (REST, gRPC, GraphQL) using tools like Postman, RestAssured or similar.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript for automation.
• Ability to develop and maintain automated test suites for API and event validation.

• Tools & Technologies:

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD workflows.
• Knowledge of schema versioning, event replay, and resilience testing.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and tooling to set up, manage, and automate API and event-driven system testing within CI/CD pipelines

• Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication to articulate complex issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Agile mindset with a proactive approach to testing and quality assurance

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Software/IT Field
• Experience with legacy system integration testing
• Certifications such as Azure Developer/Architect or ISTQB.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).
• Background in DevOps or development roles with a transition into testing.
