Integration Test Engineer

As a Test Engineer at the engineering and validation team of Exponent, you will be responsible for executing tests on batteries, BMS, pumps, connectors, and their integration to ensure the success of the E-pack and E-pump ecosystem, enabling 15-minute rapid charging. **Key Responsibilities:** - Understand the product(s) you test - Execute test procedures as per Exponent Standards - Exercise safety practices and discipline in test execution - Process test data methodologically to capture deviations - Collaborate with sub-system owners from production to product life - Raise bugs, assign them to relevant sub-systems, and prioritize them - Ensure the product meets all specifications - Provide feedback on test standards **Qualifications Required:** - 2+ years of experience in lithium battery or high power charger testing - Strong fundamental knowledge of electrical concepts - Experience in executing test instructions - Hands-on experience with electrical wiring connections, torque tools, and cable size calculations - Good understanding of measurement instruments like dataloggers and O-scopes - Proficient in documentation for recording test observations - Inquisitive mindset with a tendency to ask "Why" - Attitude to learn, dedicate, and work in a team - Previous test experience on battery, BMS, or charger systems - Effective time management to complete tasks ahead of schedule As an individual working at Exponent, what matters more than anything else is discipline, quality of work, problem-solving approach, dissatisfaction towards mediocre work, and a resilient attitude to bounce back after failing.
