Insurance Verification Specialist

As a proactive and persuasive Medical Appointment Scheduler at our dental healthcare clinic, your primary responsibility will be handling inbound patient inquiries related to dental treatments and services. You will play a crucial role in convincing patients of the benefits of our treatments and effectively scheduling their appointments. Your background in a medical process, combined with excellent communication skills, will be essential in ensuring a seamless patient experience. Your daily tasks will include conducting regular audits of patient accounts for accuracy, collaborating with medical dentists to prepare verification forms, and maintaining patient records using dental healthcare software systems. It will also be your responsibility to provide patients with appointment details, ensure patient confidentiality, and comply with healthcare regulations and procedures. In addition, you will follow up on cancelled or missed appointments, coordinate with dental professionals for smooth scheduling, and update your knowledge of dental services and procedures regularly. The ideal candidate for this role will have proven experience in a medical appointment setting or a similar role within a medical process. Excellent communication and persuasive skills are a must, and knowledge of dental terminologies would be advantageous. Proficiency in healthcare or dental software systems, along with the ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality, is also required. A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary, and a higher degree in medical or dental administration would be a plus. Experience in handling inbound patient inquiries and managing customer service interactions will be highly valued. You will be expected to work during US business hours, typically from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM, with transportation provided. The location for this position is in Mohali, Punjab, and the job type is full-time and permanent. The role includes benefits such as Provident Fund.
