Job Description

Insurance Data Entry Specialist We are seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Data Entry Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurate input and management of insurance policy data, with a focus on workers' compensation policies. The ideal candidate will have experience with insurance terminology and data processing, ensuring precise record-keeping while maintaining high productivity standards. Key Responsibilities: Data Entry & Documentation Process and input insurance policy information into company database systems Extract relevant data from workers' compensation policies and related documents Verify and validate essential policy information including coverage details, premiums, and client information Maintain accurate digital records of all processed policies and supporting documentation Policy Processing Review incoming insurance documents for completeness and accuracy Follow established procedures for policy data extraction and input Track policy status updates and renewals Flag discrepancies or missing information for resolution Quality Assurance Perform regular data quality checks to ensure accuracy of entered information Compare source documents with entered data to identify and correct errors Follow established quality control protocols Document and report any recurring data issues Process Support Assist with organizing and categorizing incoming policy documents Support team members during high-volume periods Contribute to process improvement initiatives Maintain confidentiality of all insurance and client information Required Skills & Qualifications: Understanding of insurance terminology and concepts, especially workers' compensation Experience with data entry and information processing Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel Ability to work independently while meeting productivity standards Good organizational and time management skills Excellent typing speed and accuracy Prior experience with insurance data systems (preferred) Technical Requirements High-speed internet (minimum 20 Mbps or fiber connection) Reliable computer with updated operating system Noise-canceling headset Dual monitors recommended for efficient data processing Power backup solution to prevent work disruption Rates and Expectations Work Setup: Remote Full-Time Role Location: India Rate competitive based on skills and experience Working Hours: Eastern Standard Time (EST) Start Date: Immediate Show more Show less
