Job Description:

• Verify insurance details of patients before admission, surgery, or outpatient procedures.
• Obtain pre-authorizations or approvals from insurance providers when required.
• Prepare and submit accurate and timely insurance claims as per the provider’s format and requirements.
• Track and follow up on submitted claims until they are processed and payments are received.
• Maintain accurate records of insurance approvals, claims status, and patient insurance details.
• Ensure compliance with all insurance guidelines, policies, and documentation standards.
• Serve as a liaison between patients, hospital departments, and insurance companies.
• Educate patients on their insurance coverage, co-payments, and financial responsibilities.
