We are hiring an experienced Reconciliation & MIS Executive for our Insurance Brokerage to manage end-to-end premium, commission, and insurer reconciliation with strong MIS and automation exposure.

This role is critical for ensuring financial accuracy, timely payouts, and clean books across insurers and product lines.

Key Responsibilities

Reconciliation

• Premium reconciliation between:
• Client collections
• Policy issuance
• Insurance company statements
• Commission / brokerage reconciliation insurer-wise & product-wise
• Tracking short / excess payments and insurer adjustments
• Monthly, quarterly & annual reconciliation closure

MIS & Reporting

• Preparation of:
• Premium registers
• Commission & brokerage MIS
• Outstanding & ageing reports
• Dashboard-ready data for management review
• Insurer-wise performance & payout tracking

Coordination & Follow-ups

• Regular follow-ups with insurers for:
• Pending commissions
• Corrections & reversals
• Coordination with:
• Sales
• Operations
• Accounts & Audit teams

Compliance & Audit

• Support internal & statutory audits
• Maintain IRDAI-compliant documentation
• Ensure accurate accounting entries

Required Skills

• Insurance premium & commission reconciliation
• Strong Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS)
• Understanding of insurer payout cycles
• Broker Management Systems / Accounting Software
• High accuracy & analytical mindset

Preferred Experience

• Insurance Brokerage / General Insurance Company
• Motor, Health, SME, Commercial Lines
• Experience handling multiple insurers

Qualification

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)
• Insurance certification added advantage
