Instrumentation Engineer

You will be required to provide instrumentation engineering services to support the completion of capital improvement projects and engineering service requests at the mill. Utilize effective capital improvement methods to develop project cost estimations, create instrumentation drawings, define installation work scopes, procure equipment through Purchasing, and oversee project execution until completion. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that all instrumentation activities are conducted efficiently, considering factors such as cost, labor, materials, and asset availability to achieve the best overall value. You will also be tasked with investigating and resolving chronic maintenance issues as directed by your supervisor. Additionally, you will be responsible for organizing and delivering training sessions for instrumentation mill technicians to facilitate the successful installation, startup, and maintenance of equipment and systems. Collaborate in updating and maintaining the mill's instrumentation drawings to reflect accurate information. Furthermore, your role will involve providing expertise in computing technology, computing applications, and controls systems development. Familiarity with AutoCAD/Autodesk Vault is preferred for this position. As a self-motivated and hands-on engineer, you should be comfortable working with mechanical systems and various software tools to accomplish your tasks efficiently.,
