Instrumentation Engineer

As an Instrumentation Engineer at our global engineering consultancy, you will play a crucial role in managing the interfacing for design, installation, calibration, and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems to ensure safe and efficient plant operations for an industrial manufacturing project. Your Key Responsibilities will include: - Reviewing and Implementing instrumentation systems such as field instruments, control valves, analyzers, and DCS/PLC systems. - Reviewing and approving P&IDs, instrument index, loop diagrams, hook-up drawings, and cable schedules. - Coordinating with engineering consultants, OEMs, and EPC contractors for procurement and execution. - Supervising installation, calibration, and commissioning of instrumentation systems. - Ensuring compliance with relevant standards (ISA, IEC, IS, etc.) and project specifications. - Conducting FAT/SAT, loop checking, and functional testing of control systems. - Troubleshooting instrumentation issues and supporting the plant operations team. - Preparing technical documentation, test reports, and as-built drawings. - Ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards during all phases of the project. To excel in this role, you must possess: - Strong knowledge of DCS/PLC systems, field instrumentation, and control logic. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and instrumentation design tools. - Knowledge of Gujarat state regulations and local site conditions. - Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. The minimum qualification required for this position is a Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation / Equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Industrial Projects industry.
