We are looking for a qualified and experienced Instrumentation Engineer to be a part of our team for an industrial manufacturing project. Your role will involve managing the interfacing for design, installation, calibration, and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems to ensure safe and efficient plant operations. Your main responsibilities will include reviewing and implementing instrumentation systems such as field instruments, control valves, analyzers, and DCS/PLC systems. You will review and approve P&IDs, instrument index, loop diagrams, hook-up drawings, and cable schedules. Additionally, you will coordinate with engineering consultants, OEMs, and EPC contractors for procurement and execution, and supervise installation, calibration, and commissioning of instrumentation systems. Ensuring compliance with relevant standards (ISA, IEC, IS, etc.) and project specifications will be crucial. You will also conduct FAT/SAT, loop checking, and functional testing of control systems, troubleshoot instrumentation issues, and support the plant operations team. Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing technical documentation, test reports, and as-built drawings, while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards throughout all project phases. The ideal candidate must possess a strong knowledge of DCS/PLC systems, field instrumentation, and control logic, along with proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and instrumentation design tools. Knowledge of Gujarat state regulations and local site conditions is preferred, as well as excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelors Degree in Instrumentation Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation / Equivalent, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the industry, particularly in industrial projects.
