Key Responsibilities:

• Design and propose automation & instrumentation solutions covering DCS, PLC, SCADA, HMI, field instrumentation, and industrial networking.
• Analyze customer RFQs, tender documents, P&IDs, control philosophies, and FRS to define precise technical scopes.
• Prepare system architecture diagrams, control layouts, and network topologies.
• Specify and select appropriate field instrumentation (pressure, flow, level, temperature transmitters, analyzers, valves, etc.) based on process needs and standards.
• Create detailed technical proposals including solution descriptions, compliance matrices, and clarifications.
• Support cost estimation and BOM preparation, and manage vendor/subcontractor quotations.
• Lead technical discussions, pre-bid meetings, and customer workshops to clarify requirements and showcase solutions.
• Coordinate closely with internal teams (engineering, procurement, execution, sales) and external OEMs/vendors.
• Ensure solutions comply with relevant industry standards (IEC, ISA, SIL, API) and customer guidelines.
• Stay current with latest technologies, platforms (Siemens, Rockwell, Emerson, ABB, Honeywell, Yokogawa), and communication protocols (Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet/IP).
• Prepare compliance statements, deviation reports, and technical bid evaluation documentation.
• Occasional travel for site surveys and client meetings as needed.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong expertise in automation & instrumentation systems design and equipment selection.
• Hands-on knowledge of process control strategies and industrial communication protocols.
• Excellent communication skills for technical discussions and presentations.
• Experience working with major automation platforms and industrial instruments.

Desirable:

• Proficiency in Instrumentation and automation systems like PLC, HMI, DCS, Scada.
• Prior experience in instrumentation engineering or electrical instrumentation roles.
