Position: Installation Engineer ( MSDAC) (On Third-party Payroll position) Location: Kalwa Airoli, Mumbai Experience : 3+ yrs . Qualification: Diploma / BE / BTech - Electrical Job description 1. Installation: Oversee the installation of MSDAC systems, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards. Coordinate with the project team to ensure timely and accurate installation of axle counters at designated locations. Conduct site surveys and prepare installation plans. 2. Testing: Perform rigorous testing of MSDAC systems to ensure functionality and reliability. Conduct pre-commissioning tests, including system integration and interface testing. Identify and troubleshoot any issues during the testing phase, ensuring all components are working correctly. 3. Commissioning: Lead the commissioning process of MSDAC systems, ensuring they are fully operational and meet all required standards. Prepare and execute commissioning plans, including detailed procedures and checklists. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful handover of the system. 4. Drawing Preparation and Knowledge: Prepare detailed MSDAC-related drawings, including wiring diagrams, layout plans, and schematic diagrams. Ensure all drawings are up-to-date and accurately reflect the installed system. 5. Yard, BPAC, and Auto section Work: Work on yard installations, ensuring proper placement and functioning of axle counters in complex track layouts. Handle BPAC (Block Proving by Axle Counter) systems, ensuring accurate train detection and block section management. Manage auto section installations, ensuring seamless integration with existing signaling systems. 6. Maintenance and Support: Provide ongoing maintenance and support for installed MSDAC systems. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability. Respond to and resolve any faults or issues that arise during operation. 7. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of all installation, testing, and commissioning activities. Prepare detailed reports on system performance, issues encountered, and corrective actions taken. Ensure all documentation is accessible and up to date for future reference. 8. Training and Knowledge Sharing: Train junior engineers and technicians on MSDAC systems and best practices. Share knowledge and expertise with the team to enhance overall project performance.
