Description
As a Center of Excellence (CoE) Inside Sales Engineer (ISE) at Commvault, you will play a crucial role in supporting global pre-sales initiatives for the US market. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing remote pre-sales support to Sales Engineering Managers and Sales Engineers in the US market, focusing on Proofs of Concept (POCs) and demonstrations. - Assisting in additional pre-sales activities such as documentation, diagram creation, requirements gathering, and research. - Offering technical support to the remote Sales Engineering team, ensuring excellence and urgency in opportunity development and execution. - Proposing and demonstrating Commvault solutions virtually using digital tools like presentations, demos, and whiteboarding sessions. - Supervising customer software or SaaS pilots and proof-of-concepts. - Collaborating with clients to gather detailed technical and business requirements for POCs. - Coordinating timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure smooth POC execution. - Implementing and managing POC environments, conducting demonstrations, and guiding clients through the solution evaluation process. - Resolving technical challenges promptly to maintain customer confidence and trust. - Preparing clear and concise documentation summarizing POC outcomes and their alignment with success criteria. - Presenting findings to internal and external stakeholders, highlighting the solutions" value and return on investment (ROI). - Continuously enhancing technical and market expertise through ongoing learning, certifications, and professional development. Qualifications required for this role include: - 5+ years of hands-on experience in backup and recovery solutions with a focus on one or more Cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, and GCP. - Ideally, experience in a customer-facing role with US-based customers. - Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. - Specialized hands-on knowledge in Configuration and troubleshooting of Networking, Storage Systems, Hypervisors, container solutions, and databases. - Strong understanding of technology, cybersecurity basics, computer networking fundamentals, and data protection principles. - Proficiency in onboarding Applications and configuring backup and storage systems. - Experience in deploying and configuring Operating systems. - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain business relationships. - Willingness to work in US Shift, typically between 8 PM to 5 AM IST. - Relevant Industry certification(s), cloud as a preference.
