Infrastructure Lead/Architect

As an Infrastructure Lead/Architect at our organization, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing cutting-edge cloud infrastructure solutions. Your role will be crucial in driving cloud and data platform initiatives, ensuring system scalability and security, and providing technical leadership to shape the foundation of our mission-critical applications. Your key responsibilities will include designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure AWS cloud infrastructure utilizing services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, Redshift, and IAM. You will lead the end-to-end deployment of high-performance Databricks data pipelines and develop data integration workflows using modern ETL tools alongside Python and Java scripting. Collaboration with Data Engineering, DevOps, and Security teams will be essential to build resilient, compliant systems aligned with operational standards. As a technical leader and mentor, you will guide cross-functional teams through infrastructure design decisions, conduct architecture reviews, oversee project planning, resource allocation, and deliverables. You will proactively identify infrastructure bottlenecks, recommend process improvements, and drive automation initiatives while maintaining comprehensive documentation and upholding security and compliance standards. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, cloud architecture, or related roles. Extensive expertise with AWS cloud services, Databricks, Python, Java, ETL/ELT processes, and project management skills are required. Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, Infrastructure as Code tools, and exceptional problem-solving and communication skills are essential. Preferred qualifications include experience with big data platforms, regulated environments, Kubernetes, and AWS container orchestration.
