LOCATION: Bangalore, India LEVEL: Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Associate Manager) JOB TYPE: Full Time Morae Global Corporation seeks to find the best and the brightest people those who understand what it takes to deliver top quality solutions for our clients. The Assistant Manager will play a crucial role in managing a shift within our 24/7 data centre operations. They will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, and maintaining operational excellence. Responsibilities: Lead a shift team to deliver uninterrupted data centre services. Participate actively in the delivery of our data centre upgrade programme. Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement operational strategies. Monitor and optimize operational processes to ensure efficiency and reliability. Ensure compliance with all security and operational policies. Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Assist in the development of training programmes for new technologies and procedures introduced during the upgrade. Prepare and present reports on shift activities, incidents, and performance metrics. Provide escalation support for support teams, taking ownership in the resolution of issues. Qualifications: Proven experience in data centre operations or a related field. Knowledge of data centre infrastructure and upgrade processes. Ability to work flexibly in a 24/7 operational environment A degree or postgraduate degree in IT, software engineering, or equivalent. Certifications in Microsoft, Cisco, VMware and related technologies are desirable Skills/Experience 1. VMware Environment Required Experience- 5 Years administration of a Highly available >200 VM VMware environment vCenter, ESXi iSCSI SAN management 24/7/365 Operations Desirable Experience- SRM Redundancy Global Environment Isilon (inc Superna), Pure Horizon VDI Services VCP Certification 2. Networking & Security Required Experience- Cisco IOS Route & Switch (3 Years) Nexus Switching Firewall Configuration Experience (3 Years) Demonstratable skills at CCNA level Desirable Experience- CCNP Certification ASA Firewall Experience BGP Experience 3. Server Administration Required Experience- Linux Windows (5 Years) ADFS (5 Years) Group Policy Desirable Experience- MCSA, MCSE, Windows Server Certification 4. Security Required Experience- Securing and Hardening of Server Environments, including Access Management (3 Years) 5. Project Work Required Experience- Working alone and as part of a wider team, deploying technology in data centre environments (3 years) Desirable Experience- Major Data Centre Installations and Upgrades 6.
