Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Developer with a strong background in Configuration Management using Ansible, Ansible Tower, and Event-Driven Ansible , along with expertise in VMware infrastructure automation, Kafka Engineering, Python, DevOps, AI/ML, CI/CD, Docker, Jenkins, Git, AWS, Azure, NAS technologies, and Terraform . This role involves designing, automating, and optimizing infrastructure for cloud and on-prem environments while implementing event-driven architectures.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Configuration Management:
- Develop, implement, and manage Ansible playbooks to automate VMware-based infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
- Utilize Ansible Tower and Event-Driven Ansible for large-scale automation and orchestration.
- Design and maintain Terraform scripts for cloud and hybrid infrastructure provisioning.
- Ensure compliance and security best practices in IaC implementations.
DevOps & CI/CD Implementation:
- Build and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and Docker .
- Implement GitOps methodologies to streamline infrastructure automation.
- Enhance deployment workflows for high availability and reliability.
Kafka Engineering & Event-Driven Architecture:
- Design, deploy, and manage Kafka clusters for event-driven infrastructure.
- Optimize Kafka messaging to enable real-time automation and data streaming.
- Implement event-driven automation using Ansible and Kafka integration .
Cloud & Virtualization Management:
- Architect and maintain AWS and Azure infrastructure for scalable and secure environments.
- Automate VMware infrastructure provisioning using Ansible and Terraform.
- Manage NAS technologies for efficient storage and backup solutions.
AI/ML Integration in Infrastructure:
- Leverage AI/ML models to optimize infrastructure monitoring, predictive analytics, and self-healing automation.
- Develop AI-driven anomaly detection and automated remediation workflows.
Monitoring & Security:
- Implement robust observability tools for proactive infrastructure monitoring.
- Enforce security best practices and compliance across cloud and on-prem environments.
Collaboration & Mentorship:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, security, and AI engineers.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in Infrastructure as Code and DevOps .
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Programming: Advanced expertise in Python for infrastructure automation.
- Configuration Management: Strong experience with Ansible, Ansible Tower, and Event-Driven Ansible .
- IaC & Cloud Infrastructure: Proficiency in Terraform, AWS, Azure, and VMware automation.
- Kafka Engineering: Hands-on experience in Kafka architecture, event-driven automation, and streaming platforms .
- Containerization & Orchestration: Deep understanding of Docker and container-based deployments.
- CI/CD & DevOps: Strong background in Jenkins, Git, and GitOps practices .
- Storage & Virtualization: Experience with NAS technologies and VMware .
- AI/ML in DevOps: Familiarity with AI-driven automation and predictive analytics for infrastructure optimization.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Kubernetes and Helm .
- Knowledge of serverless computing and modern cloud architectures.
- Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., ISO, SOC2, NIST ).
