Long Description Production Engineer (Network Automation) Mandatory Skills: Enterprise Linux (RHEL/Alma/Rocky/Oracle), Chef/CINC, Shell (bash), Redhat Certification (RHCE). Environment:: RHEL, Chef/CINC & Screwdriver (CI/CD) . Coding: Perl, Python, C++, ruby , shell etc. TroubleshootingUnderstanding of fundamental network and service protocols and how to diagnose them. DevelopmentTeam members are expected to drive product improvement. AttitudeFriendly, enjoys working with others and will keep up with and learn new technology. Minimum Qualifications BS degree or equivalent industry experience. Typical candidates have a BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or 5 years of equivalent experience. Candidates must be comfortable coding and be willing to learn or code in a variety of languages. Perl, Python, & Ruby (Not expecting someone to be an expert in all of them) Candidates must understand basic networking principles and can explain how and why packets flow the way they do. Candidates must have a base understanding of RHEL and how to manage and troubleshoot such systems using automation (Chef/CINC or Ansible). Candidates must have experience of creating software packages (RPMs using rpmbuild) Good to have knowledge on CI/CD workflows (example Jenkins, GitHub Actions & Screwdriver). About The Role ? ? ? ?
