Job Description

Project Role : Infra Tech Support Practitioner Project Role Description : Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting. Must have skills : Vmware Virtualization Administration Good to have skills : NA Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : Graduate in Engineering preferably in Computer Science Engineering IT ECE or BCAMCA or 3 year Diploma in Computer Science Engineering from university institute recognized by the Govt of India Role - Windows Lead Roles & Responsibilities: OS Administration, Configuration & troubleshooting & File Systems Management Active directory Mgmt Performance Tuning, Windows NLB & clusters Preventive Maintenance, Planned Maintenance/Down Time Activities Patch Management Virtualization Support Antivirus Management Server Backup & Restore Management Coordination with vendors for h/w issues Network & Power cabling of servers Servers Power on Self-Test activity (POST) Configuring server RAID and partitioning storage Server OS Hardening Provision/Deprovision/Manage VMs VM/OS level Clustering & Management Server Storage Capacity Management port during DR test (Quarterly) maintain event log for all logical access to Server OS upgrade for server Latest firmware versions / security patches upgrade Rack mounting & stacking of hardware Professional & Technical Skills:Should have minimum years of experience as mentioned in the skillset given below. Should have hands on experience in Windows Server Administration including installation, configuration and basic troubleshooting on Windows 2012/2016/2019 or higher. Should have hands on Experience in Virtualization technology (preferably on VMware 7.x or higher and Hyper-V). Should have hands on experience in Server monitoring and management. Should have skill to mount / unmount the Physical hardware Should have experience in User administration and management Knowledge of architectural design in relevant technology and hardware. Ability to identify Root Cause Analysis for any incidents or equipment failure Must have skills - Active Directory, DNS , Windows server administrationAdditional Information: The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in VMware virtualization administration. The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful virtualization solutions. This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
