Project Role : Infra Tech Support Practitioner Project Role Description : Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting. Must have skills : Commvault Backup Administration Good to have skills : NA Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary :Must have 3 years of hands-on experience in Commvault Backup to take care of technical activities Should have strong knowledge with architecture of Commvault Backup. Should have hands-on experience in configuring File system, Exchange, NDMP, SQL, AS400, DB2, DB2,SAP-HANA and Oracle Database Backups for Windows and Unix servers Roles & Responsibilities: Backup Management (Backups/Recovery jobs) Monitoring (Software and Hardware) Performing Scheduled Backups and On-Demand Backup requests Backup troubleshooting on failures and slowness issue File Server, VM, SQL,DB2,SAP-HANA, Oracle, NDMP, Agent based backup configuration and removal as per request Performing critical and normal restores as per requests Participating in audits for successful backups and failure backups Backup software upgradation to latest SP or new version Performing DR test activity to the secondary site. Professional & Technical Skills: Must Have Skills:Commvault Backups, Tape Library and metallic cloud. Good To Have Skills:Veeam Backup and recovery. Educational Qualification:15 years of mandatory education as per Accenture Standards. Should have experience on adding/updating storage and schedule policies, troubleshooting on backup failures, managing licensing and capacity usages. Should have experience on multiple iDatagents which includes Filesystem, VSA, SQL, Oracle, Exchange, SAP, Active Directory and CDP. Should have hands-on experience performing Service Pack upgrades and Hotfix patch updates. Good understanding of Deduplication in Commvault and its implantation. Should have experience knowledge on IntelliSnap, One Touch recovery, One pass, Indexing V-2. Should have hands-on experience on Network, Database and OS teams for fixing various backup issues. Should have experience on raising Commvault support cases and working with support Engineers. Should have experience on CDP and Auxiliary Copy management and configuring backups on multiple remote sites. Should have knowledge in performing disaster recovery backups. Managing High availability Commserve and Performing DDB migration, Data Seeding, DDB reconstructions, Index cache migrations. Should have hands-on experience on media management and handling staging jobs Should have hands-on experience in performing restoration of filesystem data Should have experience in recovery of SQL, Oracle, Exchange, AS400 and DB2 Understanding of NDMP, VTL, SAN Media servers, Vault and Duplication options. Maintain all equipment for backup environment to include servers, disk, and tape library and storage devices. Should have experience in Installing /Removing Updates Should have experience Analyse and handle complex incidents and major incidents and promptly provide solutions Handle complex changes across the product Work with teams internal/external teams, vendors and all relevant stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery Maintain the platform to the highest standard and ensure 24x7 support Excellent Communication Skills, ITIL Process , Ticketing Management, Customer handling. Should have hands-on experience in troubleshooting backup failures. Should have hands on experience on de-duplication, replication of backups Good skills in managing backup team Should be aware of ITIL processes and should be open to work on multiple backup technologies. Additional Information: Educational Qualification:15 years of mandatory education as per Accenture Standards. Should have strong communication skills. Ability to work shift patterns and provide out of hour's on-call support Flexible to work in 24/7 shifts (Rotational Shifts) Qualification 15 years full time education
