Your responsibilities will include: - End-to-end administration and operations of CNIS platforms such as Kubernetes, container runtimes, and cloud-native infrastructure components. - Managing and optimizing Cloud Container Distribution (CCD) by handling provisioning, upgrades, backup/restore, lifecycle management, and disaster recovery readiness. - Performing health checks, configuration drift analysis, capacity tracking, and environment validation for CCD across clusters. - Collaborating with application and platform teams to onboard workloads and offer CCD-level support. - Monitoring system performance and availability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and other relevant resources. - Ensuring compliance with security, governance, and operational policies. - Participating in and leading disaster recovery planning, execution, and root cause analysis of major incidents. - Maintaining detailed runbooks, MOPs, and CNIS documentation for operational readiness. - Monitoring SDI health and performance, resolving bottlenecks, and ensuring seamless integration with CNIS layers. - Demonstrating troubleshooting expertise with CNIS components. - Showcasing proficiency in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) system administration and troubleshooting. - Conducting hardware troubleshooting on HP ProLiant, Dell PowerEdge servers. - Handling patch management, firmware upgrades, and OS-level tuning. - Demonstrating strong hands-on experience with Juniper and Extreme Networks switches. - Configuring VLANs, trunking, port profiles (access/trunk), and ACLs. - Having a strong understanding of CEPH Storage administration and troubleshooting. The skills we are looking for in a candidate include: - Over 10 years of experience in supporting and managing business critical operations. - Deep knowledge and practical experience in Linux Administration. - Proficiency in Dockers, Kubernetes, and any other cloud platform. - Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills. - Understanding of SDN and integration with container networking layers like Calico. - Familiarity with traffic filtering, isolation, and multi-tenant CNIS network architecture. - Hands-on experience in switch boot process, firmware upgrades, backup/restore, Border leaf switch management, and troubleshooting. - Ability to configure VLANs, trunking, port profiles (access/trunk), and ACLs. - Experience in performance analysis, component replacement, switch stacking, and chassis management.
