Job Description

As an experienced professional seeking a challenging opportunity, you have the chance to join the team at Ericsson. Your role will involve the following responsibilities: - End-to-end administration and operations of CNIS platforms, including Kubernetes, container runtimes, and cloud-native infrastructure components. - Managing and optimizing Cloud Container Distribution (CCD), covering provisioning, upgrades, backup/restore, lifecycle management, and disaster recovery readiness. - Performing CCD health checks, configuration drift analysis, capacity tracking, and environment validation across clusters. - Working closely with app and platform teams to onboard workloads and provide CCD-level support. - Monitoring system performance and availability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and other monitoring tools. - Ensuring compliance with security, governance, and operational policies. - Participating in and leading DR planning, execution, and RCA of major incidents. - Maintaining detailed runbooks, MOPs, and CNIS documentation for operational readiness. - Monitoring SDI health and performance, resolving bottlenecks, and ensuring seamless integration with CNIS layers. - Troubleshooting experience with CNIS components. - Expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) system administration and troubleshooting. - Hardware troubleshooting experience on HP ProLiant, Dell PowerEdge servers. - Patch management, firmware upgrades, and OS-level tuning. - Strong hands-on experience with Juniper and Extreme Networks switches. - Configuration of VLANs, trunking, port profiles (access/trunk), and ACLs. - Strong knowledge of CEPH Storage administration and troubleshooting. The skills you should possess for this role include: - 10+ years of experience in supporting and managing business critical operations. - In-depth knowledge and working experience in Linux Administration. - In-depth knowledge and working experience in Dockers, Kubernetes, and any other cloud platform. - Troubleshooting and debugging skills to identify and resolve issues. - Understanding of SDN and integration with container networking layers (e.g., Calico). - Familiarity with traffic filtering, isolation, and multi-tenant CNIS network architecture. - Performance analysis, component replacement, switch stacking, and chassis management. Preferred certifications for this role: - CKA / CKAD / CKS Kubernetes certifications - Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA/RHCE) - Networking certifications (Juniper/Extreme/SDN) - ITIL Foundation (preferred in process-driven environments),
