Role Overview: You will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and managing Cloudflare DNS security solutions to protect web applications and enterprise infrastructure. Additionally, you will implement DNSSEC, DDoS mitigation, and rate-limiting techniques to enhance security and reliability. Monitoring and troubleshooting DNS performance, security events, and anomalies will also be part of your role. Optimizing Cloudflare WAF (Web Application Firewall), Zero Trust policies, and security rules to prevent cyber threats is crucial. Ensuring compliance with best practices for DNS security, networking, and cloud security will be a key responsibility. Key Responsibilities: - Work with DevOps, SecOps, and IT teams to integrate Cloudflare security services into CI/CD pipelines and enterprise environments. - Develop automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) configurations for managing DNS security at scale. - Stay up to date with emerging DNS-based attacks, security trends, and Cloudflare innovations. Qualification Required: - 5+ years of experience in DNS security, networking, or cloud security. - Strong understanding of Cloudflare services, including DNS, WAF, Load Balancing, Rate Limiting, Magic Transit, and Zero Trust. - Expertise in DNS security best practices, including DNSSEC, DoH (DNS over HTTPS), DoT (DNS over TLS), and threat intelligence. - Experience with DDoS mitigation strategies and incident response. - Knowledge of BGP, Anycast, CDN, and edge security architectures. - Experience working with SIEM/SOC tools for DNS monitoring and security analysis. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
