Job Description


We are seeking an experienced

Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer

with

11-13 years of expertise

in

Windows Server Administration, VMware, and Microsoft 365

. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in

Active Directory migration, virtualization, cloud services, and IT project management

.

Key Responsibilities:


Windows Server & Active Directory Administration



  • Perform

    Active Directory (AD) migration/upgradation

    using

    Quest and ADMT tools

    .

  • Manage

    FSMO roles, Global Catalog, and Group Policies

    .

  • Troubleshoot and optimize

    Windows OS, clustering, and system recovery

    .

  • Work with

    PowerShell, ADFS, and Windows Server (2003, 2008 R2, 2012 R2, 2016, 2019)

    .


  • VMware & Virtualization Management

  • Administer and support

    vSphere environments

    , including

    vMotion, HA, DRS, VDS, Affinity Rules, vCenter, Storage Migration, and P2V Migration

    .

  • Conduct

    vSphere performance tuning, troubleshooting, and capacity planning

    .

  • Manage

    vCenter servers (6.0 or above)

    for virtualization infrastructure.


  • Microsoft 365 & Exchange Administration

  • Perform

    advanced administration

    of

    Microsoft 365

    and

    Exchange Online

    .

  • Execute

    Exchange Online shell scripting

    for automation and maintenance.

  • Manage

    on-prem to cloud migration

    for

    Exchange servers

    .

  • Ensure

    O365 patching and compliance

    as per contractual requirements.


  • IT Security, Compliance & Backup Management

  • Implement

    patching strategies

    for

    Windows, O365, and security vulnerabilities

    .

  • Manage

    backup solutions

    and disaster recovery planning.

  • Maintain

    Windows templates

    and ensure compliance with

    security policies

    .


  • Project Management & Leadership

  • Lead

    IT infrastructure projects

    , ensuring

    on-time and within-budget delivery

    .

  • Communicate

    project status, risks, and solutions

    to stakeholders and senior management.

  • Conduct

    post-project reviews

    and drive

    process improvements

    .


  • Qualifications & Skills:

  • 11-13 years

    of experience in

    Windows, VMware, and Microsoft 365 administration

    .

  • Expertise in

    Active Directory, AD migration, FSMO roles, and Group Policies

    .

  • Strong

    VMware administration

    experience, including

    vSphere, vCenter, HA, DRS, and P2V migration

    .

  • Hands-on experience with

    PowerShell scripting, ADFS, and automation

    .

  • Knowledge of

    DNS, Windows Clustering, and WSUS patching

    .

  • Experience in

    backup tools, system monitoring, and security compliance

    .

  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with global clients and stakeholders.
