Information Technology Intern

Role & responsibilities

• Strong understanding of computer hardware (laptops, printers, network peripherals).
• Familiarity with operating systems: Windows, Linux, MacOS.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi/LAN).
• Familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls, and CCNA-level concepts.
• Basic knowledge of IT security principles.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization concepts
• Familiarity with productivity and collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365).
• Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and teamwork ability.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in IT.

Preferred candidate profile

• Provide first-level IT support to end users (hardware, software, and network issues).
• Install, configure, and update user systems, servers, and applications.
• Monitor and manage IT assets, ensuring availability and reliability.
• Assist with maintaining IT infrastructure (network, firewalls, switches, surveillance systems, etc.).
• Support IT inventory management and procurement processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of IT processes and security practices.
