Information Technology Engineer

The IT Infra Engineer is responsible for deployment and maintenance of third party platforms on on-prem infrastructure, onboarding SaaS applications, and implementing DevOps processes. As the ideal candidate, you should possess a strong understanding of software development, infrastructure, and operations. Your primary role will involve collaborating with developers and operations teams to ensure that software is built, deployed, and monitored in a reliable and efficient manner. Your responsibilities will include helping to evolve the continuous integration and deployment infrastructure, creating and maintaining system design and operation documentation, designing and implementing the container orchestration strategy, monitoring and troubleshooting applications, and providing primary operational support for multiple software applications. To succeed in this role, you should have experience in designing and implementing continuous integration and deployment frameworks (e.g., Gitops), familiarity with Linux and Windows Operating systems, knowledge of IT network concepts including Firewalls, and an understanding of standard IT security practices (e.g., TLS certificates, key management, OAuth, SAML). Additionally, experience in DevOps/Infrastructure design and management at an enterprise level using infrastructure as code (AWS CDK, Terraform, or Ansible), building and supporting multi-tier production applications running at AWS and SaaS, and working with source control systems like GitLab or GitHub is essential. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are also required. Preferred qualifications for this role include AWS or Kubernetes certification(s), a Bachelors's degree in Computer Science or a related field, 2+ years of experience, experience working in the financial industry, expertise in cloud migration, and experience working with containers.,
