Information Security Leader

As an experienced and dynamic cybersecurity leader at Cvent, you will provide regional, executive-level support for various programs and initiatives while managing the day-to-day operations of Cvent's India Information Security team in Gurgaon, India. Your role involves collaborating with Global Information Security leadership to maintain and implement a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with Cvent's business objectives and global SaaS product and corporate computing operations. You will also work closely with regional executive leadership to ensure adequate resourcing and support for the Information Security team. Your key responsibilities will include: - Supporting Global Strategic Leadership: - Collaborating with Global Information Security leadership and functional peers - Providing executive-level support for regional security risk assessment and treatment activities - Supporting global security governance and reporting activities - Team Management and Oversight: - Leading and mentoring the Cvent India Information Security team - Maintaining alignment between the Global Information Security team and the Cvent India Information Security team - Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation - Application & Cloud Security: - Providing oversight and executive-level support for security best practices in software development and cloud security - Security Operations: - Offering technical oversight and support for security controls for Cvent's global SaaS platform - Ensuring effective 24/7 security monitoring and incident response capabilities - Compliance and Risk Management: - Overseeing activities to achieve and maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations - Supporting third-party vendor risk assessment and risk treatment activities - Security Assurance: - Providing executive-level support for customer assurance support activities Your qualifications should include: - Education: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field - Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CCSP - Experience: - 15+ years of experience in information security, with at least 8 years in a leadership role - Strong technical knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices - Proven track record in managing information security for a global SaaS company Your technical skills should encompass a deep understanding of cloud security architectures, proficiency with DevSecOps principles, and knowledge of endpoint detection and response tools, SIEM systems, vulnerability management platforms, and security operations center management. In addition to technical skills, soft skills such as exceptional leadership abilities, strong communication skills, stakeholder management, and business acumen are essential for success in this role.,
