Infection Control Nurse

Experience - 04 to 05 years ( Hospital Experience)

Registered Nurse (KNC) license

Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred

Skills & Knowledge

• Deep understanding of infectious diseases and aseptic techniques
• Familiarity with CDC definitions and governmental regulations
• Ability to interpret infection control data and prepare reports
• Knowledge of hospital-acquired infection (HAI) reporting requirements
• Proficiency in educating diverse healthcare teams

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce infection control policies and procedures
• Conduct regular facility assessments to identify infection risks
• Monitor and report infection trends and outbreaks
• Investigate incidents of infection and recommend containment strategies
• Educate healthcare staff on hygiene practices, PPE usage, and isolation protocols
• Provide guidance to patients and families on infection prevention
• Liaise with public health authorities and regulatory bodies
• Maintain documentation for nosocomial infections and reportable diseases
• Stay updated on CDC guidelines, JCAHO standards, and latest research
