Infection Control Nurse

We are hiring Infection Control Nurse to our Azeezia Medical College Hospital.

Requirements

• Master's degree in nursing or related field.
• Certification in Infection Control(CIC).
• KNMC registration mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of infection prevention and control standards,guidelines.
• Minimum of 3 years of Experience .
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Policy Development and Implementation:

Creating and overseeing infection control protocols, policies, and procedures for a healthcare facility.

• Surveillance and Monitoring:

Conducting regular assessments and surveillance activities to identify potential infection risks, track infection trends, and monitor compliance with hygiene and infection control practices.

• Education and Training:

Providing education and training to healthcare professionals, patients, and the public on topics such as hand hygiene, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and isolation procedures

• Isolating and treating infected individuals to contain the spread of infectious diseases.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of infection control activities and outcome.
