Role Description

Matria Hospital is seeking an Infection Control Nurse for a full-time, on-site role located in Kozhikode. The Infection Control Nurse will be responsible for developing and implementing infection prevention and control protocols, monitoring and managing infectious risks, conducting staff training, and ensuring adherence to healthcare standards. The role involves regular assessments, reporting, and liaising with multidisciplinary teams to maintain patient safety and prevent infections within the hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Infection Control, Infectious Diseases, and related preventive measures
• Proficiency in Nursing and medical care practices
• Strong knowledge of infection identification, management, and treatment strategies
• Ability to conduct training sessions on infection prevention for healthcare professionals
• Exceptional communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Registered Nurse qualification or equivalent in a relevant medical field
• Experience in a clinical or hospital setting, preferably in an infection control role
• Certification in Infection Control (CIC) or similar credentials is a plus
