Job Description

As an Industry Developer IoT & Digitalization at Siemens, your role involves being a Technical Promoter to market IoT & Digitalization solutions and use-cases. You will proactively generate new leads and business opportunities by presenting and demonstrating IoT solutions with clear value propositions to generate business. Your responsibilities include: - Technical promotion, demonstration & prescription of IoT/Digitalization solutions across various segments - Achieving sales targets for IoT/Digitalization portfolio - Preparing techno-commercial offers and handling order bookings - Maintaining records of MIS data, leads, and projects - Engaging with customers for generating project leads through presentations, demonstrations, and workshops - Collaborating with technical consultants and PMCs - Supporting regional sales teams with prescription actions and technical support - Gathering market knowledge on competitor products - Participating in industry events to promote IoT/Digitalization portfolio Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering - 8-10 years of relevant experience in pre-sales, business development, and technical sales support - Minimum 2 years of experience in handling Digitalization/IoT solutions - Knowledge of wireless/wired sensor technologies and communication protocols - Familiarity with IEC standards and Power system networks - Ability to prepare value proposition-based presentations - Flexibility for frequent business trips and maintaining business relationships - Self-starter with a consultative selling approach and strong communication skills Siemens is a global company with a focus on building the future sustainably.
