Role description

  • Identifying psychological and environmental factors contributing to accidents
  • Applying psychometric tools and behavioural assessments to identify risk-prone patterns.
  • Designing and implementing strategies to reduce workplace accidents and injuries including elimination of CAUPs.
  • Designing and implementing comprehensive safety training programs and developing safety professionals to impact the human behaviour at shopfloor.
  • Working with leadership to build a positive and proactive safety culture.
  • Conduct BBS observations, analyse unsafe behaviours, and design interventions

Skills

Minimum 5–10 years of experience in industrial or organizational
psychology, preferably in a manufacturing, mining, or heavy engineering environment. Proven record of implementing behavioural change programs or leading psychological safety initiatives.

Other details

Master’s / PhD in Industrial / Organizational Psychology, Applied
Psychology, or Behavioural Science. Additional certification in Counselling, Behaviour-Based Safety, or Emotional Intelligence preferred.
