Role Overview: You will be responsible for overseeing the pre-production processes, line balancing, loading plan, style overlap, pilot studies for new styles, training and development of operators, and preparing various reports to facilitate decision making. Your role will also involve identifying discrepancies, estimating potential overconsumption of accessories, and ensuring optimal WIP flow between operations. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare the ideal workplace layout and ensure adherence to standardized methods and layouts - Take up discrepancies in sewing operations with the design team or Customer for resolution - Identify potential overconsumption of accessories and estimate the same - Arrive at the Standard Minute Value (SMV) using GSD software - Coordinate with the head supervisor to allocate SMOs/machines appropriately and maintain optimum WIP flow between operations - Provide feedback on the loading plan to Shift Managers and maintain efficiency in the assigned lines - Plan and schedule style overlaps in coordination with Group leaders and allocate work effectively - Conduct pilot studies for new styles and submit the First Commission Report - Observe, improve, and monitor sewing methods of operators according to the AD - Train operators on various operations (Multi-Skilling) to facilitate line balancing - Prepare various reports such as Work Distribution Plan, Pilot Study Report, and Monthly Operational Performance Report Qualifications Required: - 3 years of experience in the Garment Sector, Production Floor, GSD, and Standard Minute Value - Full-time job with day shift schedule - Work location is in person Additional Details: No additional details of the company are mentioned in the job description.
