As a Production Planning and Control Specialist, your primary responsibility is to ensure efficient and effective production operations in the garment sector. You will be involved in various stages of the production process, from pre-production planning to post-production analysis. During pre-production, you will be responsible for setting up the ideal workplace layout, identifying discrepancies in sewing operations, estimating accessory consumption, determining Standard Minute Values (SMV), line balancing, and providing input on loading plans. You will work closely with supervisors to allocate resources appropriately, maintain optimal workflow, and address bottlenecks in the production line. Additionally, you will plan and schedule style overlaps, conduct pilot studies for new styles, and train operators to improve sewing methods and overall performance. Multi-skilling will be a key focus area, where you will identify and train operators on various operations to facilitate line balancing and efficiency. Your role will also involve preparing reports such as work distribution plans, pilot study reports, work flow charts, and monthly operational performance reports to support decision-making processes. You will be expected to review and forward daily efficiency reports, hourly production files, machine requirement reports, and other relevant data to facilitate smooth production operations. In addition to the core responsibilities outlined above, you may be required to perform other duties as requested by management. Your knowledge and skills in the garment sector, production floor management, GSD software, and Standard Minute Value calculation are essential for this role. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience in the garment sector, production floor management, GSD software, and Standard Minute Value calculation. The work location is in person, and you will play a crucial role in optimizing production efficiency and quality in the garment manufacturing process.,
