Industrial Engineer

Kaypee Electronics is looking for an industrial engineer who is capable of optimizes production processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs, while ensuring quality standards in manufacturing operations.

Main responsibilities:

• Prepare line layouts to ensure efficient workflow and equipment placement.
• Apply engineering principles to streamline production and reduce waste.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement cost-effective solutions.
• Support the integration of automated systems to improve workflow and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor performance metrics to ensure compliance with quality and productivity targets.

Required competencies:

• CAD tools for layout and design.
• Knowledge of industrial automation systems and their application in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to identify root causes and develop effective solutions.

Required experience:

• Minimum 5 years in industrial engineering within the manufacturing sector.
• Experience in transformer or electrical equipment manufacturing is preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

Essential education and certification:

• Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Certification in Six Sigma – Intermediate.

Necessary skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD software.
• Knowledge of production metrics and cost analysis.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication and project management skills.
• Fluency in technical English.

Job demands:

• To work in the factory physically at Dobbasepet, Bangalore Rural.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.

Compensation and benefits:

• 50,000–52,000 INR per month
